LV Men's Spring-Summer 2023

I am very impressed by the production level of this fashion show. It's the most creatively free and fearless commercial creativity I've seen in a long time.

A lot of good things happened at the Louis Vuitton Men's Spring-Summer 2023 fashion show.

1. Kendrick Lamar performing tracks from his excellent album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers live while sitting and watching the fashion show in a crown of thorns. This is why I watched this. The album is a difficult and raw listen at times but it's a 10/10 for me.
2. Florida A&M University's famous Marching 100 band.
3. A giant yellow platform / toy car racing track.
4. The Louvre.
5. A quirky short film at the beginning.
6. A giant rainbow gradient piece of fabric.
7. The Louis Vuitton team coming out together at the end of the show. This is the team Virgil Abloh assembled before he tragically died last year. You can tell they are really showing up for each other. It's nice to see.
