Favourite Albums of 2022
It's been a whole year since the last list?! Time doesn't mean anything anymore.
This year I have 2 groups of albums. Group one are artists that I've never listened to previously that stopped me in my tracks and demanded my attention. Group two are artists that I love that delivered on and even exceeded my expectations.

Sudan Archives – Natural Brown Prom Queen
I was in as soon as I heard the first track, Home Maker.
Special Interest – Endure
This album is energy.
ROSALÍA – MOTOMAMI
SAOKO. SAOKO.
Huikaru Utada – BAD MODE
The songs Somewhere Near Marseilles and Find Love made me listen.
Ethel Cain – Preacher's Daughter
Come for the pop candy American Teenager. Stay for the rest of the album, it's daaaaark.
Alvvays – Blue Rev
I don't know how I missed these good Canadian kids until their third album. A lot of bops on here.

I made it 38 posts before posting about Thom Yorke. Now I might Open the Floodgates.
Beyoncé – RENAISSANCE
Maybe my favourite Bey album?!
Kendrick Lamar – Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers
This album is a journey. Not an easy listen front to back but Kendrick delivers some amazing openness and great songs on here.
Taylor Swift – Midnights (3am Edition)
I'm a Swifty. It has to be the 3am edition because the best song is a bonus track.
Destroyer – LABYRINTHITIS
Dan Bejar brings the vibes again!
