You're a crazy cop and you don't have any memories really, but you're doing a cop thing! Soooooo cooooool, I know. But ya, there's also other things.
Like different aspects of your psyche are primary characters in the game, telling you to do things, giving you information, fooling you, helping you, scaring you. Like check it out:
And a beautifully rendered, stark, expressionist watercolor-y post-war environment to explore.
And a beautifully rendered, stark, Vangelis meets some sad cellos soundtrack by British Sea Power.
Moments of this game brought me back to some of the most formative moments of media consumption I've ever had, like the froggy rain in Magnolia, or hearing VU's The Gift, or some thing from a book maybe, if I read that stuff. All very interesting and great.
